Although you can of course stitch it up in any colours you wish/a single colour

I would recommend using 2 strands (or equivalent thicker thread) for the outline as I feel this design just needs that little bit of extra definition at the edges

but this will give a slightly different effect as they will be a little bit thicker (on 16 count the effect would most likely be pretty similar) You could choose to use a single strand for the outlines too if you wish
